In Belarus, a court in Minsk sentenced a family of three on charges of espionage, treason and arms trafficking. This was reported by the publication Salidarnasts.

Thus, 56-year-old Dmitry and 57-year-old Tatyana Korsakov, as well as their 27-year-old daughter Pelageya (in absentia), were sentenced to 14, 12 and 11 years in prison, respectively, as well as a fine of 50 thousand rubles.

It is known that in 2021 Pelageya left for Ukraine because she participated in protests. She worked as a designer and did volunteer work.

“Last September, on the 26th, my dad called me and said a terrible text: “I was detained, my mother was hospitalized with a stroke, come, everything is very bad.”. Then someone who did not introduce himself picked up the phone and continued: “Your parents are detained, if you want us to release them, you must come.”. That is, they were taken hostage and they didn’t even hide it. Later I found out that my mother didn’t actually end up in the hospital, it was a terrible manipulation,” said Pelageya Korsakova.
