New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern canceled her own wedding after announcing the country's new, highest level of restrictions due to outbreak of omicron variant infections.

Under the new rules, no more than 100 people can gather at any mass event if they are all vaccinated, and no more than 25 if they do not have vaccination certificates.;
