The tax on foreign parcels was postponed for a year

The corresponding law was published in the edition of the Voice of Ukraine on Wednesday. 3 January. As said in the document starting with the fourth premise, such shipments will be subject to tax, duty and excise.

At the same time, changes in the rules of duty-free importation of goods in manual or accompanied baggage up to 500 euros and weighing up to 50 kilograms for those who were absent in Ukraine for more than a day and enter the country no more often than once within 72 hours, entered into force on January 1 2018, the draft law says.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Verkhovna Rada on December 8 adopted amendments to the Tax Code, which significantly tightened the rules for the importation of goods from abroad.
