This is reported by the news agency Reuters.

If the ultimatum is rejected, the Iraqi government will prohibit international flights to and from Kurdistan.

Haider al-Abadi believes that holding a referendum indicates that the Kurds are clearly violating the basic principles of the state.

In turn, this leads to a "tense" of the conflict in the region and destabilizes the already turbulent Middle East.

Baghdad appealed to other countries to stop flights to Kurdistan. This request was carried out only by Iran.

As reported in "URA-Inform", the Turkish authorities stated that in case of escalation of the conflict on the borders of the country, in connection with the conduct of the Kurdish referendum, the latter will take all measures permitted by international law.
