The President sincerely regrets that from now on the rights of national minorities will not be fully taken into account in the country, especially regarding the language issue.

Dodon noted that the law makes it impossible for ethnic minorities to study in the country, which can lead to their denationalization. He recalled that in Moldova there are many schools where pupils are taught in their native language.

The head of the Moldovan state asked the leadership of Kiev to reconsider some of the points of the new law.

"I count on the wise decision of my Ukrainian colleagues for the sake of good interethnic relations in Ukraine," stressed Dodon.

As reported in URA-Inform, earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary had held several working meetings with the ambassador of Ukraine to the country, Lyubov Nepop, where he sharply spoke against the new law of Ukraine on education.
