Washington reacted to Putin's demand to expel 755 US diplomats from Russia

The US State Department deems it inappropriate for the Russian authorities to comment on the need to expel more than 750 American diplomats from Russia.

He noted that the US authorities intend to assess the consequences of such a decision on the part of the Kremlin and the possible reaction to it.

"This is an inappropriate and regrettable step," - said the representative of the State Department.

Let's note, yesterday, President Vladimir Putin said that 755 US diplomatic representatives should go from Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the US will recall 300 diplomats from Russia because of the Kremlin's statement.
