According to Groisman, the memorial is a reminder of a terrible tragedy, in which innocently killed more than 6 million people, including 1.5 million children. In particular, among the righteous people of the world, who saved Jews during the Second World War, risking their own lives - 2,5 thousand Ukrainian.
In this regard, Vladimir Groisman laid a wreath at the monument to the victims, lit the Eternal Flame, inspected the exposition of the Memorial Complex and the Children's Memorial.
Also, the Ukrainian politician visited the memorial complex on the Hill named after Theodor Herzl in Jerusalem, where the national and military cemetery is located.
It should be noted that this is the burial place of the leaders of the state, outstanding figures and people who gave their lives for Israel.
Recall, as reported by URA-Inform, earlier Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman during a meeting with representatives of the US Congress said that the revision or mitigation of sanctions against the Russian Federation is possible only in the event of Russia's retreat from its plans and return to its borders.
