As explained on the website of the National Airport Minsk, now all Belarusian flights are transferred to the international sectors of airports in Russia and there will be passport control.

Previously, flights from Belarus were not searched and were equated to domestic routes.

Russia explains this by the fact that Belarus has introduced a five-day visa-free regime for foreigners and does not want to allow illegal immigrants to enter its territory.

The Belarusian side is not going to introduce the same measures in response, and the Minsk airport will operate in the usual mode. Check passengers who fly from Russia, will not be in Belarus, writes the Belarusian partisan.

The exception will be only transit passengers flying to Russia via the Minsk National Airport: they need to submit an identity document, as well as a migration card.
