The heads of the Novouspenovskaya and Kirillovskaya communities in the Zaporozhye region - Ivan Senik and Ivan Maleev - were released from captivity by the occupiers. This was announced by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

It is indicated that the head of the Novouspenovskaya rural council, Ivan Senik, was captured by the enemy on April 13 for his patriotic position and given work in the interests of the community, even under conditions of occupation.

At the same time, the head of the Kirillovskaya village council, Ivan Maleev, was kidnapped from his workplace on April 17 after he rejected the ultimatum of the occupiers on cooperation.

“8 Ukrainian mayors continue to be held captive by orcs. Their fate remains unknown,” Klitschko added..
