Communal enterprise "SMEP" by the end of this year will install five new traffic lights at unregulated pedestrian crossings in Odessa. This was reported in the information department of the Odessa City Council.

Traffic lights will be installed taking into account the traffic conditions on certain sections of the street and road network: traffic and pedestrian traffic, accidents, near objects of mass visits to people.

Thus, new crossings will appear at the crossroads of Torgovaya and Elisavetinskaya streets, Tiraspolskoye highway and Horizontnaya street, the Architectural street and Otvazhny streets, as well as on Dobrovolsky prospectus 133 and Cosmonauts street in the Cheryomushki market area.

The necessary equipment will be purchased during July-August.
