The National Commission that carries out state regulation in the sphere of communication and information at a meeting today, November 7, decided to hold a tender for obtaining licenses for the use of the radio frequency resource of Ukraine for the introduction of the radio technology "International mobile (mobile) communication IMT" in the range of 2600 MHz (2510-2545 MHz , 2565-2570 MHz, 2630-2665 MHz, 2685-2690 MHz).

The date for the tender was determined on 23 January 2018. On this day, among the bidders for participation in the tender will be chosen by the bidders.

Until November 10, an appropriate announcement and tender conditions will appear on the site of the NCCR.

Notices of intention to participate in the tender and other documents of the tender offer will be accepted by the NCCI from November 13 to December 22, 2017 inclusive.

The press service of the NCRC noted that in connection with the receipt in the National Commission of official statements from telecommunications operators about the intention to release the 1800 MHz band for the possibility of introducing new technology in it, the Commission plans to consider in the first decade of December 2017 the issue of a tender for licenses for introduction of 4G in the specified range.
