During a recent presentation, Apple noted that the iPhone X has long been in the company's plans and it took a long time to develop it. While the smartphone was at the stage of creation, the network constantly appeared various rumors: for example, initially the insiders assumed that the fingerprint scanner in the novelty is integrated with the display, but the manufacturer ran into difficulties and replaced it with Face ID. Now it became known that the emergence of the face recognition system was a planned step, rather than a forced decision.

According to the statement insider Dzhona Grubera, Apple decided to use Face ID for at least one year before the iPhone presentation X. Meanwhile, the plans for the Cupertino people still had to integrate a fingerprint reader into the screen, but this idea was "Plan B". Then Gruber's guess was confirmed by the engineers who worked on the new smartphone.

Another feature of the iPhone X - the powerful A11 Bionic processor - was also designed long before the release. In a recent interview with Mashable, Apple's senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller and head of hardware technology Joni Srouji confirmed that the development of the A11 chipset was launched in 2014. Recall, three years ago, Apple took the first step to the current design in the form of the iPhone 6, but already then bet on AI technology.
