Both of them were called by the so-called workers of banking institutions, reported on the blocking of bank cards, hunted out confidential information and devastated the accounts of their victims, taking all the savings.

In the Sumy police department 54-year-old resident of the regional center turned and said that she was a victim of a fraudster. As it turned out, on a day off, in the evening, an unknown person phoned her home, who introduced himself as an employee of one of the powerful Ukrainian banks. The man said that for some reason the card was blocked by the Sumyanka, and in order to restore its effect, you need to update certain information.

In conversation with the account owner, the intruder recognized the woman's PIN code, as well as the password to the banking program and withdrew all available money from the victim's account in the amount of 10,400 hryvnia.

A similar crime was committed against a 61-year-old resident of the city of Belopolye.

Acting in the same scheme, the swindler asked the man for all the information he needed, and then withdrew 15500 UAH from his account.

The police opened criminal proceedings on h. 1 st. 190 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and began investigative actions to identify fraudsters.
