The British news agency Press Association received over 800 thousand dollars from Google to create a draft project Radar, in which news will be written by robots. This is reported by the BBC. It is assumed that robotic journalists will be able to generate over 30,000 news per month for local media. The start of the project is scheduled for 2018.

Now there are five people working on Radar, who are trying to automate news on medicine, crime, employment and other spheres received from open sources. Radar will help local newspapers and websites cope with the lack of advertising revenue and other sources, creating cost-effective content. It is emphasized that Radar will not be able to completely abandon the people-journalists who will continue to edit the news and adjust the algorithms for their writing. As reported earlier, the Briton created the "most successful" resume using Google. The man resorted to the function of autocomplete.
