Chinese hackers sell software that can detect vulnerable webcams with Internet connection anywhere in the world and access them. This is reported by Mashable.

The publication notes that the instrument is sold for $ 28. In addition, the attackers organize group chat rooms in Chinese messengers, in which they share additional information about hacking. In particular, conversations publish logins and passwords for access to cameras.

Every day in chats free of charge logs and passwords to hundreds of cameras: usually in the list is from 200 to 400 positions.

Experts note that hackers hack basically systems for monitoring the house and cameras to monitor children. However, their users most often do not change the system settings, so attackers can easily access them and monitor them without the knowledge of the device owner.

In late May, experts at Check Point found a vulnerability in popular video players, which allows you to remotely hack a computer. It turned out that hackers can use the technique of downloading and processing files with subtitles for movies and gain control over the system being attacked.
