OnePlus smartphones have gained popularity due to top specifications at a more affordable price than competitors. Judging by the available data, the upcoming OnePlus 5 will also not disappoint in terms of technical characteristics. The manufacturer has already officially confirmed the use of the flagship eight-core processor Snapdragon 835 and announced a partnership with DxO to configure the camera. But the cost of the future flagship can be extremely unpleasant to surprise fans.
According to rumors, OnePlus will increase the cost of a new smartphone to $ 650. This is allegedly due to the use of more expensive components, such as Quad HD-display, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual camera and t. For comparison, OnePlus 3 at the start of sales last year was $ 399, and later released OnePlus 3T - $ 439. So the increase in the cost of OnePlus 5 is not ruled out, but this information has not yet been confirmed.
OnePlus also announced the immediate termination of sales of OnePlus 3T, and to promote a new smartphone, the company launched a referral program for its dedicated fans. Owners of previous OnePlus smartphones can get a referral link and share it with friends and acquaintances. When using this link, the user will receive a discount of $ 20 on accessories when buying a smartphone, and you will receive points that can be accumulated and also exchanged for accessories or for a discount when purchasing OnePlus 5.
