The date of the beginning of retail sales of the reissued Nokia 3310 phone became known. In the UK, the phone will appear on May 24, in Germany - from May 26, in the Netherlands and Belgium - from June 5. This was told TechRadar resource with reference to the message of the company HMD.

Recall last week, the manufacturer announced the start of the supply of the new Nokia 3310, but the exact time of the beginning of real retail sales was not named.

The reissued version of the Nokia 3310 button phone was introduced by HMD Global in February at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, ??simultaneously with Nokia 3 and 5 smartphones.

The new Nokia 3310 received a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels), a 2-megapixel camera and even a slot for microSD cards. The phone has become noticeably smaller, thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It is available in four colors - red, yellow, blue and gray.

As reported during the announcement, sales will start in the second quarter of 2017 at a price of 49 euros.

In May 2016, Nokia announced a strategic license agreement with the Finnish HMD regarding intellectual property and brand, in which HMD will be able to create phones and tablets of a new generation under the Nokia brand for the next ten years. HMD has already introduced a budget phone Nokia 150 in December 2016 and a smartphone Nokia 6 in January 2017.
