CEO of Yahoo! Marissa Mayer (Marissa Mayer) will be able to earn about 186 dollars as a result of the sale of the company's core business to the telecommunications giant Verizon. This is reported by the BBC, referring to documents sent by Yahoo! to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

At the end of July 2016, it announced the sale of Yahoo! Internet business (online services, search engine, Yahoo Mail mail, Yahoo News news aggregator and sports sites) to Verizon for $ 4.83 billion. However, after reports of large-scale leaks of users of Yahoo! projects, the value of the deal was reduced to $ 4.48 billion.

After completing all the formalities relating to the sale of assets, Marissa Mayer will leave Yahoo!. The remaining company (in fact, it will have only shares in the Chinese Alibaba Holdings and the division of Yahoo Japan) will be headed by Thomas McInerney (Thomas McInerney).

Marissa Mayer owns options for the purchase of shares worth more than $ 84 million and the right to free receipt of a certain number of shares (RSU) totaling $ 25 million. Also, it has about 1.6 million shares of Yahoo for 77 million dollars.

Thus, the total cost of this package is about 186 million dollars. This does not include the salary and Mayer premiums for the past five years, as well as the options that it has already implemented before.
