Intel Corporation without loud announcements introduced in the family of Kaby Lake processors a new product of the Core M3 series, designed for use in fanless devices and energy-efficient portable computers.

The announced chip was designated Core M3-7Y32 - it's a more productive version of the Core M3-7Y30 solution that debuted in the third quarter of last year.

Both processors are produced in 14-nanometer technology and contain two processing cores with the ability to process up to four instruction flows. Supported RAM LPDDR3-1866 and DDR3L-1600. For processing graphics meets the integrated controller Intel HD Graphics 615 with a frequency of up to 900 MHz.

The main difference between products is in the operating frequencies.

Previously available Core M3-7Y30 chip operates at a nominal clock speed of 1.0 GHz, and the frequency in the "turbo" mode reaches 2.6 GHz. At the beginner - Core M3-7Y32 - these indicators are equal to 1,1 and 3,0 GHz respectively.

The maximum value of the dissipated thermal energy (TDP) is only 4.5 W. Moreover, this value can be reduced to 3.75 W in order to improve the energy efficiency of the final device.

The price of the processor is set at around 281 US dollars.
