Ukraine introduces electronic integrated disease surveillance system. On this on Monday, September 25, the press service of the State Service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection. It is noted that the plan for introducing the system was discussed during a meeting of specialists of the State Consumer Protection Service with representatives of the US Embassy in Ukraine. The first stage of the innovation will be the distribution of roles and responsibilities among the agencies involved, as well as the formation of information flows between them.
The system for monitoring diseases will include the central apparatus of the State Food Consumption Service, all regional departments of the department, the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise, 24 regional laboratories, 544 district territorial offices of the State Consumer Protection Service. It will also include inspection posts and other research institutes. It is planned that the access points to the system will be 716. Earlier, Ukrainians opposed the closure of hospitals.
