Among the cases - 59 children and 48 doctors. 572 people were hospitalized (a day earlier - 334), 43 patients died (a day earlier - 26).
Officially, on August 3, 47,442 tests for coronavirus were made (39,622 days earlier). Of these, by the PCR method, which identifies patients, - 22 533, by the ELISA method, which identifies both patients and recently recovered, - 8064, rapid antigen tests - 16 845.
During the entire period of the coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine, 2,255,345 cases of COVID-19 were registered, of which 2,188,273 recovered, 53,024 people died. More than 11.4 million PCR tests performed.
Most cases of COVID-19 per day were detected in Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkov, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
