Goldberg of the Tomsk Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences the drug “tiovyurtsin” - became the first analgesic in the world that does not have side properties.

Tests of the new drug have successfully passed the preclinical research stage.. For three years, specialists from the Tomsk Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducted research on the drug on Drosophila, rodents and rabbits.

The analysis showed that the drug has a fairly long analgesic property, without causing side effects.

Svetlana Krylova, professor, leading researcher at the Research Institute, noted: “The absence of side effects when using thiovuricin, which usually appear when prescribing opioid analgesics, makes it safe for use among people sensitive to this category of drugs”.

Scientists are currently preparing for human trials.. Investors are also being searched.
