Since September 2018 in Ukraine, a single electronic system of professional medical examinations has been activated, according to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

According to experts, such an innovation should streamline professional medical examinations and make it impossible to forge medical certificates and health records.

"Professional medical examination is a prerequisite for the work of drivers, people who own weapons, and decreed persons - educators, teachers, teachers, students, public catering workers, trade. Now such examinations will be contained in a single register of medical examinations - a securely protected electronic system, "the Ministry of Health said in a statement..

In addition, professional inspections of Ukrainians will take place exclusively in health care institutions, and their data will be automatically displayed in the electronic system. A duplicate certificate for a medical examination can be obtained free of charge.

It is planned that over time the Unified Register of Medical Examinations will be integrated into the "Electronic Health". Now launched a mobile application "Medical Examinations", through which the supervisory authorities will verify the legitimacy of a specific medical examination.

To operate the new system, in addition to the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The order to create a unified state medical examination base for certain categories of persons in the health care system was signed in September 2017, and from June 20, 2018, it began testing the system and connecting health facilities to it.

Until the end of 2018, about 3,000 health facilities in all regions of the country plan to connect to the system, and paper forms will gradually be replaced by electronic.
