Scientists from the United States found out how women are affected by the early rise.

They worked in scientific laboratories at the University of Colorado, as well as in Massachusetts, where the Boston Women's Hospital. They managed to conduct an experiment lasting four years.

Almost 32,500 women took part in it, some of whom called themselves larks, some were owls, and some said that they belonged to an intermediate type.

When the experiment was only at the initial stages, none of the participants taking part in it was diagnosed with depression.

Summing up the results at the very end, the scientists noticed that just over two and a half thousand cases of depression were noticed and almost three hundred of them were recorded in people with the owl chronotypes.

Specialists conclude that early recovery reduces the risk of women becoming depressed.

Professors who lead this project, advise each of them to try to spend more time in the light and lead an active lifestyle in order to have a good sleep.
