Polish scientists at Poznan University of Arts have determined that in summer people become angrier and more aggressive because of the overabundance of the stress hormone.

The statistical summary speaks eloquently that the number of violent crimes in hot weather only increases.

Scientists decided to conduct a series of experiments, identifying the cause of this phenomenon.

It turned out that during a heat people are more often exposed to stress and anxiety.

Scientists studied several women who tested for cortisol in the summer and winter periods of the year. It was in the heat that the amount of the stress hormone increased dramatically, the authors of the paper note..

At the same time, researchers compared the parameters of physical activity of the participants in the project, taking into account their sleep and activity.
