Once again we discuss the decree of the Ministry of Health. And once again, not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance "PUNCH 20. 03. 2018 R. No. 509 "ABOUT PROTECTION OF ZAZOTOUVANNYA TA INTERCONNECTION OF LIKARSKIY ZASOBIV - GADOLINIYMMISNYKH KONTRASTNIKH ZASOBIV IN TERITORI UKRAINI" This decree provides that a number of preparations based on gadolinium, which are used as a contrast for MRI, are now prohibited in Ukraine.
What in general is Gadolinium?.
Gadolinium is a common contrast agent, its radioactivity is used to improve the accuracy of MRI images.
