The growing number of children born with a tendency to develop allergic reactions seriously worries professionals, and forces them to look for new ways - how to protect the child from developing allergies.

In particular, researchers from the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, who have observed the development of children in 3,200 families for many years, managed to establish that the diet of a child under 1 year of age determines the risk of developing an allergy at a later age.

So, it turned out that those children, whose diet in the first year of life is rich in fish and seafood, practically do not suffer from allergies. Such children are less likely to develop food intolerance and are 20% less likely to suffer skin allergic reactions to various allergic agents.

The observation was conducted for more than 12 years, which allowed specialists to talk about high objectivity, even though it is accurate to determine the reasons why a fish-rich diet prevents the development of an allergy.

The authors of the study agree with their American counterparts who previously made a list of recommendations for the first lure, according to which, breastfeeding in the first year of life should alternate with meat and fish products (naturally, specially prepared for children).
