The outbreak of viral hepatitis A among residents of Balakley district continues. As of November 21, 29 people were ill, including 14 children.
There were registered 7 family foci: 4 sick people (2 of them had children), 3 foci with 3 cases (5 children) and 2 foci with 2 cases (1 child).
During the epidural investigation in the village of Andreevka violations of the sanitary legislation were revealed, the corresponding anti-epidemic measures were not fully implemented, the sources of water supply in the village are inadequate, the population is not provided with quality drinking water.
The issue of implementation of anti-epidemic measures was heard at a meeting of the regional commission on issues of technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations of the regional state administration,.
The resolution of the meeting includes proposals of the Main Directorate for carrying out measures to provide the population with quality and safe drinking water supply and other.
