Our ancestors used horseradish as a seasoning for food, and the people of the zoo in the south of South Africa used it as a poison, rubbing their arrowheads.

British scientists have studied this phenomenon and found that a molecule extracted from horseradish can divide cancer cells into separate fragments.

According to scientists, as a result of this research, a new path of treatment of malignant tumors opened before medicine. In the UK, a horseradish-based vaccine has already been synthesized, which is introduced into the patient's body together with an anti-cancer hormone. It produces toxic substances that neutralize cancer cells, but only when the affected cell is broken up into fragments. Now with the help of the horseradish molecule it became possible.
