Given the harm that causes the consumption of cigarettes to health, it would be best to give up this habit. But if there is no such desire, then you can try at least to reduce the negative consequences of poisoning the body with tobacco, using a special diet.

To avoid problems with blood vessels, you should minimize the consumption of fatty acids (beef and pork fat), which increase the amount of cholesterol in the blood. Instead, you need to consume more fatty monounsaturated acids - in particular, olive oil.

It is also necessary products containing antioxidants - substances that purify the body of damaging molecules called free radicals. This will give hope (but not a guarantee!) To avoid tobacco-induced cancers, especially lung cancer.

The main antioxidants necessary for the health of tobacco users include vitamin E (found in nuts, cereals, liver and many vegetables), vitamin A (liver, carrots, dried apricots), as well as beta-carotene (carrots, pumpkins, spinach, broccoli).

The smoker's body urgently needs vitamin C, the positive effect of which on the body is difficult to overestimate. This vitamin is necessary for the health of bones, ligaments and blood vessels. Vitamin C participates in amino acid metabolism, promotes wound healing, counteracts infectious and catarrhal diseases, helps restore the body after hard work, and so on.. But tobacco is stealing from us this vital protection. Smoking 20 cigarettes a day, a person daily destroys 50 mg of vitamin C. It is necessary to take care of the daily intake of this vitamin in the amount of 200 mg. Vitamin C, contained in food, is much better absorbed than synthetic.

Thus, only an adequate diet can help solve the problem with vitamins.

50 mg of vitamin C we find in:.

• 30 g of black currant;.

• 25 g of kiwi fruit;.

• 25 g fresh parsley;.

• 50 g of sweet pepper;.

• 50 grams of fresh tarragon;.

• 70 grams of watercress;.

• 80 g of fresh red cabbage;.

• 100 g of citrus fruits or squeezed juice (lemon, grapefruit, orange);.

• 200 g of liver or kidney health. Sumy. Ua.
