American scientists came to the conclusion that strawberries are a good remedy for cancer.
Regular consumption of strawberries provides, according to scientists from the University of Ohio, additional protection against cancer of the esophagus and oral cavity. This is explained by the content in the strawberry of specific substances that impede the development of tumors.
In the near future, researchers will test the effect of strawberry components on the microflora of the oral cavity in so-called heavy smokers who smoke more than a pack a day. It has already been proved that these sweet berries do provide additional protection against malignant neoplasms.
