In 2018, from the list of subjects for which external independent assessment is made, the Russian language. This is stated in the text of the order of the Ministry of Education No. 1103 of July 31, 2017.

The list includes 11 subjects:

Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, mathematics, biology, geography, physics, chemistry, English, Spanish, German, French.

"Each registered participant in external independent evaluation has the right to pass tests on no more than four subjects from the list," reads the document.

The UPE will be held from May 22 to July 14, 2018.

August 1, 2017 it was reported that almost 60 thousand 928 applicants received recommendations for admission to budget places in higher educational institutions.
