The American company SpaceX first returned to Earth the space truck Dragon after undocking from the International Space Station (ISS). The first repeated flight of a private spacecraft to the ISS and from it was completed, "the company said on Twitter.

According to TechCrunch, earlier on Monday Dragon separated from the ISS, descended from orbit and splashed on the platform at 8:14 (15:14 for Kiev). The ship stayed in space for a month, it was launched on June 3. The first flight of Dragon committed in September 2014.

For a new launch the ship was repaired.

At the end of March 2017, SpaceX first launched and landed the previously used first stage of the Falcon 9 missile.

Reuse of spacecraft will reduce the cost of flights. Now the cost of launching the Falcon 9 booster is $ 62 million. According to the founder of SpaceX Ilona Mask, the cost of launching with the previously used first stage will be reduced to almost $ 40 million.
