Goalkeeper of the national team of Ukraine and Lisbon Benfica Anatoly Trubin voted for the creation of a high-power football academy in Kiev. The footballer informed social networks about the launch of the project.
Trubin wants to improve his professional qualifications in order to help young students develop and gain opportunities for further growth. In other words, going from children's football to the professional level requires significant work, and support at important stages can be of utmost importance.
“I myself have walked from childhood football to the professional level and I know how difficult it is. I understand how much value there is behind this and how important it is that a young footballer should be denied the chance to develop further at the right moment..
I don’t have the evidence and the ability that I want to volunteer to help young Gravians. That’s why I support the Trubin Academy. We start with the U-19 team, but only the first stage. Every year we learn about the team and coaches and show how the academy works,” the goalkeeper said.
Trubin recently played two matches for the Ukrainian national team in Liza natsiy. In the match against Georgia, the Ukrainians drew 0:0, and in the match against Ugorshchina they lost 1:2.
Benfica will play the next match on the 11th day against Guimaraes. The beginning of plans for 20:00 Kyiv time.
