UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin praised the decision to run for another term within the European organization. The UEFA press service reports this.
The 58-year-old Slovenian voiced his decision to the presidents and general secretaries of all 55 national UEFA associations at the meeting that took place in Berlin.
It is also agreed that in the last month the association expressed its confidence in Ceferin and asked the Slovenian to vote for a new term, regardless of their decision not to disturb.
" With the length of the remaining rocks we met with the highest shouts, and we stood against them as one team. The work ahead is still important, and that’s why I accepted her curse.
My ambitions remain unchanged: to preserve the integrity of European football, to make our group stronger and to save UEFA until the next generation. I am also dear to my homeland. The decision comes from them so richly, and I couldn’t accept it without their understanding and support,” said Ceferin.
The vote for the UEFA President will take place at the 51st Congress of the organization in Astana - 22nd quarter 2027.
If Ceferin's candidacy is confirmed, then for the new year there will be a fourth and remaining term in UEFA's name. Vin embraces his plantation since 2016.
It was previously reported that the Tottenham and Swiss team leader plans to run in the election of FIFA President.
