Sunderland and Swiss footballer Granit Xhaka has accepted punishment for receiving a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Yahoo Sports reports this.
Apparently, the 34-year-old Swiss has received a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus in 2022. In his own protest, the football player said that he did not trust the vaccine and felt fear and insignificance.
As a result, Xhaka waived a fine of 150 thousand francs with a trial term of two years.
It is also significant that, through the investigation, Xhaka left the Swiss national team and missed all the matches of the Nations League, but the “crusaders” won all the matches.
