The head coach of the Ukrainian national team assessed the team’s performance in the match against Ugorshchina, explaining the reasons for the defeat and highlighting the promising youth.
Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andrea Maldera commented on the defeat of Ugorshchyna with a 1:2 draw in the fourth round of the League of Nations. The Italian footballer appreciates that the Ukrainian team played a strong first half and did not deserve a negative result.
" I don’t remember that the Ugrian team would have wanted any blow in the first half. It is clear that we ran forward and, most likely, the graves did not sound with such great intensity. Possibly, the remaining 8–10 half of the first half and three thirds reduced the liquidity, but still dominated the game. This was also confirmed in another time. We moved the ball and controlled the match,"
The coach also named the team’s main problem after Ukraine equalized the rahunok. In my opinion, the players did not have enough leadership to achieve the desired result.
“I respect that we didn’t have enough time to see the hvilini after we compared the rahunok. At this moment there is no need to talk about tactics and technology. At such moments, it is necessary to have a leader on the field who can manage these creatures.
Stosovno spent. So, we practically had one more team today. Alas, I am pleased with the graves that we played today. We have developed a lot of young football players who can be a valuable resource for our team in the future. Krupsky, Ponomarenko, Krasnopir - they all played a very good match today. And so, perhaps, the problems are in intensity, even the stench of youth,” said the coach.
Maldera also covered the middle bags of four matches and learned about various tactical schemes. In his words, the team was trying not to be transferred to the superniks.
" We don’t need to be too satisfied, we understand that there is no reason. We need to conduct a broader analysis of the remaining four matches.
We played in different ways. So, we played with two attackers, and with two dozens, and with the Wingers. So we tried different schemes. We must play in such a way that we are not guessed by those who marvel at our game and our matches. The reality of a decision in May may be even more important for us.
Today's transfers that we didn't deserve at all. “Obviously, I don’t want to take the credit of the collected Ugor region here, but that’s my idea,” Maldera said.
Okremo the coach commented on another Ukrainian goal after Ukraine restored its equalization. Maldera appreciates that episodes like this have more to do with the knowledge and mental preparedness of the team, rather than tactful pardons.
" I think, if only we could sing that we lost the duel on our half, and that’s what happened. The ball hits the flank, then serve and goal. I think that such moments do not need to be analyzed from the point of view of tactics. We will produce this for video analysis.
I think that at this moment something else came to the forefront. Those who are young are like a team and individually. At such moments it is necessary to be more aware. Physical, technical strengths, mentality last for 90 minutes, and in this we can improve.

I told the Gravians that we were collapsing with the right one directly, the one who played good football, to my thought. The distance between the graves was good, we did not allow many chances. This is a problem of mentality. “We may appreciate the slightest correction of our pardons,” Malder summed up.
