The Portuguese national team has officially announced the list of playing numbers for the upcoming National League match against the Danish national team.
The main point of the application was the change of the leader of the most famous T-shirt in the history of the team. From now on, under the seventh number, the winger Rafael Leau will compete for the national team..
Having taken over the baton from Cristiano Ronaldo, for whom “Simka” was an indispensable attribute and became a vital personal brand over the course of two decades of appearances for the national team.
Along with other key players, well-known leaders have lost their traditional numbers: Bruno Fernandes plays with number 8, Bernardo Silva keeps the number ten, and Joao Felix enters the field with number 11.
It seems likely that before Ronaldo left the Portuguese national team after a scandal, he is looking at the end of his international career.
