Borussia Monchengladbach announced the appointment of Alexander Blessin as the team's new head coach. The property with the 53-river Fahivets is insured until 2028.

Blessin's official presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 23, at a press conference at the Ista-Borussia-Park stadium. At the same time, sports coach Ruven Schroder will speak to journalists as a new mentor.

Blessin was born in Stuttgart in 1973. He began his coaching career at the RB Leipzig Academy, and in 2012 became an assistant head coach of the U-17 team, and later became a staff member of this century-old warehouse.. In 2018–2020, the German worked with the Leipzig U-19 team.

After working at the Blessin Academy, he moved on to adult football and the Belgian Oostende. In his first season on the professional level, he led the team to fifth place in the Belgian championship and was recognized as the country's longest-serving coach.

In 2022, Fahivets left Genoa, and after completing work in the Italian club, he turned to Belgium, becoming the coach of Union Saint-Gilloise. Together with the Brussels team, Blessin won the Belgian Cup and was seeded in another place in the championship, which is why the club was denied the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League. For these results, he was suddenly named the greatest coach in Belgium.

Before the 2024/25 season, Blessin returned to Germany and won St. Pauli, who had previously risen to the Bundesliga. Under his leadership, the team managed to maintain a place in the elite division for bags in the first season after turning.

However, in the current campaign, St. Paula flew out of the Bundesliga, after which the club decided to launch a new stage and join forces with Blessin. Now the German coach will continue his work in the German championship at Borussia Monchengladbach.
