Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk officially turned to Olympiakos' application for the main stage of the European League for the 2026/27 season. The Greek club has already added the player to the list submitted to UEFA.
Yaremchuk replaced the injured Ayoub El-Kaabi from the application. Olympiakos handed over the necessary medical documents to UEFA in order to clear up the Moroccan forward, after which they denied the opportunity to make changes to the European Cup list.
In this way, the 30-year-old Ukrainian can take part in the European League matches at the warehouse of the Piraeus team.
Olympiakos will hold its first match at the main stage of the tournament on June 16. The Greeks at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium will take on the Polish Jagiellonia.
