UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin stated that Russian clubs and national teams cannot be allowed to participate in international tournaments due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The head of UEFA also noted that, in his opinion, the majority of Russian athletes do not support war. At the same time, we have shown respect for those who suffer through the side of young football players who do not count a hundred years until the political decisions of their country.
