Liverpool continue to lose their leading contender for the transfer of PSG winger Bradley Barcol. The English club plans to present a new proposal to the Parisians later this year in order to try to complete the negotiations.

The Merseysiders also agreed with the 23-year-old footballer about the conclusion of a special contract, which could be completed until the summer of 2032.

Liverpool is no less interested in Barcol. The French winger is followed by Arsenal and one of the clubs in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, the English team itself is in the best position in the fight for the title.

Liverpool's first proposal amounted to 115 million euros. PSG plans to pay nearly 150 million for Barcol.

Last season, the Frenchman played 49 matches for the Parisians in all tournaments, scoring 13 goals and providing 7 assists. At the World Cup 2026, Barcola played all matches for the French national team, scoring three goals and one assist.

Liverpool started the new Premier League season with a draw against Newcastle – 2:2. In the other round the team plays Nottingham Forest on 29 September.
