Dynamo Kiev lost to Qarabag (0:2) in the third round of the Conference League qualification match and was eliminated from the European Cup after a home win (1:0).

Such an early exit from European Cup qualification will be restored for the “white-blues” in the 2005/06 season if they lost to the Swiss Thun (0:1, 2:2).

From that hour, Dynamo at least reached the playoff round for the European Cup and Karabakh, and this series ended.

Since 1992, Dynamo has been eliminated from the two-match European Cup competition, leading to the collapse after the first game. Until then there were 11 successful tests.

Also, in six qualifying matches, Dynamo achieved only one victory and this is the best result for Ukrainian clubs from such a number of teams.
