PSG captain Marquinhos commented on the victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup 2026 match. The Parisians won the Volovo victory 2:1 and then suddenly won the trophy.
" It's nice to start the season this way. We are obliged to confirm our mentality on the field, we want them to become more part of the history of football. We need to keep chewing on the paper so that we can reach it ourselves.. If you are able, I hope you can win the trophy.
All trophies, although important, will inevitably leave a larger trace, otherwise they will all be lost in history. Now we are ready until the week when we play for the French Super Cup. Mi viklademasya na povnu, sob yogo vigrati. We never fail in our hundred-hundred-hundred-year readiness, but we have reason and evidence to win such matches,” said Marquinhos.
For PSG, the victory over Aston Villa became another triumph after the UEFA Super Cup. The Parisians are already preparing for the upcoming match for the trophy - the team is playing for the French Super Cup this week.
