Depay can apply to FIFA through the Corinthians for 7 million euros

Memphis Depay is preparing to go to FIFA through non-payment by Corinthians to Borg, which is estimated at 42 million Brazilian reals (a little more than 7 million euros).

According to UOL, the Dutch striker intends to get the club to repay financial claims through football authorities.

There are a number of payments that Corinthians can contribute to the profit of a football player. Among them - part of the signing bonus, payments for image rights and bonuses for performances transferred to the contract.

The financial conflict escalated after Corinthians decided to continue the contract with Depay. The parties had previously agreed on a new agreement, but the Brazilian club at the end of the day reiterated its position, explaining the decision with a stable financial situation.

The footballer himself publicly criticized Corinthians' policy, saying that the housekeeping was favored by the president, sports, legal and financial departments, and then the club decided not to oust them.
