Inter have started negotiations with Tottenham over the transfer of Jed Spence. According to The Athletic, the Milanese club is ready to pay close to 30 million euros for the 26-year defender.
The Italians are looking for a new right full-back after Denzel Dumfries' move to Real Madrid. Spence is seen as one of the leading candidates for this position, and the footballer himself is eyeing a move to Serie A.
There are reasons for the Englishman to consider a change to the club. Tottenham's main options on the defensive flanks will be deprived of Destiny Udogi and Pedro Porro, through which Spence may find it difficult to maintain regular playing practice.
In addition, this season the London club is not participating in European competitions.
Recently, the last season became one of the best in Spence’s career. He helped Tottenham to save his registration in the Premier League, and after a year of going to the national team of England for the World Cup, being a good driver, he helped to get “bronze”.
His manager's performances have won the respect of several clubs, but Inter itself is in the best position to complete the transfer.
