Ukrainian striker Utrecht Artem Stepanov may be on the bench at the start of the new season in the Dutch championship. ESPN reports this.

This summer, Anthony Correa took over the team, replacing Ron Jans. With the arrival of Correa, the training program changed, but it was not entirely suitable for many Gravians.

It appears that Stepanov is gradually rejecting negative feedback from the coach, and in his opinion, the Ukrainian is unable to correctly determine the moment to start pressing in the other half of the field. At the same time, other players reject criticism for their inability to promptly show the right decisions to their teammates.

Last season, the 18-year-old Ukrainian played 15 matches, choosing a place at the starting warehouse at the end of the season - five goals and one assist this year. Artem’s lease is insured until the summer of 2027, and his contract is assigned to Bayer.
