The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld the appeal of Lechia Gdansk against the Polish Football Association regarding the removal of five points from the 2025/26 season.
CAS praised that it has no jurisdiction to hear the appeal filed by the club at Herbal Rock. In this case, the PFA previously advised the club to allow it to jeopardize the decision to take a point from CAS, so Lechia filed an appeal, regardless of the completion of the procedural terms.
Guess what, Lechia flew out of the Ekstraklyasis, unable to save its place in the elite, despite five points taken by the PFA Licensing Committee.
