Ukrainian winger Timur Tuterov signed a new contract with Sunderland. The press service of the English club officially informed about this.

The 21-year-old footballer continued his career with the “black cats” after a productive season, having further improved his development. Recently, Tuterov also scored a goal in a friendly match against York City, which ended with a crushing victory over Sunderland with a score of 5:1.

The Ukrainian spent the first part of the 2025/26 season at the warehouse of the Sunderland U-21 team, where in seven matches of the Premier League 2 he recorded six goals and one assist. Such performance allowed him to miss the chance to prove himself in adulthood.

The other half of the Tuter campaign is tested in the lease in Exeter City, which operates in Liza 1. In 17 matches for the club, the Ukrainian scored three goals and provided one assist.

Sunderland announced that the new contract confirms the progress of the young winger and believes the club in his long-term prospects.
