Real Madrid has no intention of selling Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin before the summer transfer window.
According to information from Defensa Central, the ranks of “tops” are important to most Ukrainians who do not see an option as their exit. The club is convinced that Lunin is getting enough playing practice, especially considering the health problems of Thibaut Courtois, who has missed 26 official matches due to injury over the past two seasons.
Dzherelo confirms that Real Madrid have already conveyed to the Ukrainian goalkeeper their important role in the team.
In addition, the relationship between the footballer and the club has improved significantly, and Lunin’s family feels comfortable in Madrid.
Previously, the Spanish newspapers provided information that the Ukrainians could be deprived of the Real Summer, but the club’s position is not to report the situation. Lunin's contract with Madrid runs until the summer of 2030.
In the 2025/26 season, the 26-year goalkeeper played 12 matches in all tournaments, conceded 21 goals and kept a clean sheet once..
